Sewn Earth
A storefront built entirely on restraint.
Sewn Earth curates EWG-certified Korean beauty for customers who read ingredient lists. The identity had one job: say safety and premium care without shouting either.

What restraint had to prove
Clean beauty is a crowded claim, and most of the brands making it lean on loud packaging to prove they mean it. Sewn Earth went the other way. The identity needed to communicate safety, transparency and premium care while doing almost nothing visually, because in this category decoration reads as compensation, not confidence. That meant every remaining choice, the palette, the typeface, the spacing, had to carry more weight than usual.
A palette with nothing to hide
The colour system stays neutral and skin-safe rather than reaching for anything that could read as medicinal or, worse, trendy. Two skincare jars in cream and sage green carry the leaf mark as the only real accent on the object. The typography is clean rather than minimal for its own sake, and the spacing is generous enough that the product, not the branding, is what a customer's eye lands on first.
Restraint outside the jar
The same discipline had to survive packaging and screens the brand does not fully control. A shopping bag prints the botanical line art in a single ink. A kraft mailer box opens onto folded fabric carrying the leaf pattern rather than a printed insert. The Instagram profile on a phone screen uses the identical palette and type as the product page, so a customer scrolling before they buy sees the same brand they meet after the box arrives.
The product doing the talking
An under-eye patch applied to a cheek is the least branded image in the set, and that is deliberate: the identity is built to step back at the moment the product itself is the story. Sewn Earth curates other people's formulations. The brand's job was never to compete with what is inside the jar, only to make sure the jar was trustworthy before anyone opened it.
